Ever since its founding in 1976, Buhlmann Laboratories AG has been a successful supplier of medical diagnostic kits.In 1978, Buhlmann started developing and manufacturing unique and innovative medical diagnostic kits by early identification of relevant new parameters. A variety of these niche products have indeed kept their uniqueness and remain unchallenged to date.
Since 1990, Buhlmann have adopted the strategy of focusing its own research and production on novel immunoassays in the fields of Allergy (CAST and Flow-CAST), Neuro-immunology (most recently in Multiple Sclerosis), and Sleep Research (Direct Saliva Melatonin), Neuro-endocrinology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Vitamins and Toxicology.
